Wow a time.
Honestly, I am a sucker for accidental marriages but this one didn’t do it for me folks. Off the bat we are hit with this blinding insta-love attraction where our Hero invites our heroine to a comedy festival to take her mind off her recent breakup and betrayal–and because he can’t stand to be away from her. Not even after an hour of meeting him, she agrees and off they go. I got to 42% before I decided to DNF this novel as the writing and dialogue were super cheesy and I felt like the relationship between our main characters Mac and Kelley was never real or felt real. Every single scene felt rushed like we were on fast forward to get to the big plot points, making each transition (if you can call them that) and scene feel not worth my time.
