BOOKENDING AUTUMN 2019: EL DIA DE MUERTOS
Happy Wednesday Storytellers and welcome back to another Bookending Autumn post! We are nearing the end of our event and I am absolutely LOVING all the posts that I have seen so far! I’m still waddling through everyone’s posts (make sure to add it to the blog hopping masterlist!) because as usual, I am trying to play catch up–but the end is near!
If you don’t know what Bookending Autumn is, its a month long event in October that was created by myself and Clo @ Cuppa Clo where we aspire to bring the bookish community closer together through the platform we love the most–blogging! Each day we have different prompts from different hosts that participants can replicate! I am wickedly excited to check out everyone’s posts and prompts as we get more into the month as our hosts this year are dishing out quality content! You can catch me smiling from ear to ear as I get to meet all of you on your blogs and on our Twitter (@bookend_events if you haven’t followed, you totally should!) page!
Like I said earlier, I am hardcore playing catch up with our hosts prompts, but today I decided to take a break from the catch up and do our current prompt of the day! Today is being hosted by the lovely Chiara @ Bookworms Anonymous, and if you haven’t waddled over to her page yet, I really encourage you to as she is a complete gem!
Also don’t forget that we have a blog hopping masterlist! The list features all of our participants and those who are participating in Bookending Autumn can put their post links next to their name for easy blog hopping! Can’t wait to see all your amazing posts! And with that, let’s get into today’s prompt!
El Dia de Muertos
If you could bring one character back from the dead for 24 hours who would it be and why?
🚨SPOILERS FOR THE A COURT OF THRONES AND ROSES SERIES BY SARAH J. MAAS🚨
PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE LAST BOOK IN THE SERIES!
The one person I would bring back from the dead for a day would probably be my gossip loving and soul twin, the Suriel, from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas.
I think they deserve to see the outcome of their sacrifice and in my head peace is being hard core cultivated in Prythian so they would get to see what they always dreamed of. Plus I would want to chat and gossip with the Suriel about everyone and everything because wow the tea is always steaming with them. Quality moments and quality time would be happening for those 24 hours fam.
Who would you choose to resurrect for a day?
