Happy Wednesday Storytellers! I’m super excited to be continuing WWW Wednesdays here on the blog as a way to saddle more of that bookish chit chat that I’ve missed having with you all! If you don’t know what WWW Wednesdays are–it’s a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words, in which you answer these three simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

After seventeen years—and countless broken bones and broken promises—she knows her window to compete in figure skating is coming to a close.
But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she’s spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything.
Including Ivan Lukov.
This is a re-read for me for my Mrs. Claus Readathon’s Hot Cocoa Romance Challenge (Read a slow burn)! Everytime I read MZ’s work I just fall more and more in love with her writing, because I am ALWAYS finding different nuggets I never noticed before. Le swoon.

Downsized, broke, and dumped, 38-year-old Marley sneaks home to her childhood bedroom in the town she couldn’t wait to escape twenty years ago. Not much has changed in Culpepper. The cool kids are still cool. Now they just own car dealerships and live in McMansions next door. Oh, and the whole town is still talking about that Homecoming she ruined her senior year.
Desperate for a new start, Marley accepts a temporary teaching position. Can the girl banned from all future Culpepper High Homecomings keep the losing-est girls soccer team in school history from killing each other and prevent carpal tunnel in a bunch of phone-clutching gym class students? Maybe with the help of Jake Weston, high school bad boy turned sexy good guy.
When the school rumor mill sends Marley to the principal’s office to sign an ethics contract, the tattooed track coach, dog dad, and teacher of the year becomes her new fake boyfriend and alibi—for a price. The Deal: He’ll teach her how to coach if she teaches him how to be in a relationship. Who knew a fake boyfriend could deliver such real orgasms? But it’s all temporary. The guy. The job. The team. There’s too much history. Rock bottom can’t turn into a foundation for happily ever after. Can it?
Warning: Story also includes a meet-puke, a bouffanted nemesis, a yard swan and donkey basketball, a teenage-orchestrated makeover, and a fake relationship that gets a little too real between the sheets.
This is my first book from this author, and I am kicking myself for not starting this book sooner. ITS HILARIOUS. I am dying laughing and if I didn’t have to adult I would be binging the crap out of this bad boy. Huge shout out to That’s What She Said publishing for reaching out and sending me a finished copy in exchange for my honest review!

I knew better than to fall for my best friend’s little sister, but she’s worth everything to me—even breaking an oath to the man who was the closest thing I had to a brother.
Every day is a struggle to remember she’s one hundred percent off-limits and way too young and innocent for a war-hardened Marine Captain like myself. But when I’m around her, I lose all my hard-earned self-control. And when we’re apart, I realize she’s my sole reason for breathing.
But she’s done waiting for me. She’s ready to walk away. I won’t let that happen. Not now. Not ever. I’ll burn in hell for breaking that damn promise, but she’s worth it. It’s Christmas Eve and tonight I’m ready to claim the best Christmas present of all.
Author’s naughty note: Looking for wildly hot, over-the-top sweetness and a possessive alpha hero, and a feisty, untouched heroine? Then this one is for you! Sweet, filthy in an oh-so-good way, and so ridiculously hot you’ll be begging for more! Like you’ll find in all my books, this is a safe romance with a HEA & NO CHEATING!
Another book for my Mrs. Claus’ Readathon, this one I read for the coming home challenge (Second Chance Romance). Short, sweet, and to the point, this one was an okay read for me. I had a few qualms about it, but realized that this was the authors debut story (if her amazon catalog is correct), so I’m hoping that it gets better the more I waddle through her backlist!

A scandal-plagued American figure skater’s last chance at gold means pairing up with Russia’s sexiest male skater…who happens to be the first man she ever loved.
“The Cutting Edge” with a Russian twist.
American pairs figure skater Carrie Parker’s Winter Games dreams were dashed when her philandering partner caused one of the greatest scandals in skating history. Blacklisted from competing in America, her career is over…until she receives a mysterious invitation and is reunited with the most infuriating, talented—and handsome—skater she’s ever met.
Russian champion Anton Belikov knows sacrifice. He gave up a normal life and any hope of a meaningful relationship to pursue his dream. And he’s come close—with a silver medal already under his belt, the next stop is the gold. All he needs is a partner. While he’s never forgotten the young American skater he seduced one long-ago night in Amsterdam, he never expected to see her again…never mind skate with her.
When what starts as a publicity stunt grows into something real between them, Carrie and Anton’s partnership will test their loyalties to family, country, and each other. With only a few months to train for the competition of a lifetime, can they master technique and their emotions, or will they lose their footing and fall victim to the heartaches of their pasts?
Red Hot Russians, Book #1
I CANNOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW UNBELIEVABLY EXCITED I AM TO GET TO THIS ONE. If you didn’t know before, I use to be a professional figure skater, so when I find books that combine my love for the ice with my love for romance, I’m an instant stan and I will have a desperate need to consume. I’m reading this one for the Extreme Gifting (Winter Sports Romance) challenge of the Mrs. Claus’ Readathon!
