June Wrap Up

Somehow the universe let me get older in June and no one objected?
Happy first of July Storytellers! I am super excited for everything that this month has to offer in the realm of storytelling as I start up (again?) creating my own magic as I am participating in Camp Nanowrimo this month! ALSO TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF BOOKEND EVENTS!! If you haven’t signed up already, go on and finish reading this and then head over to my co-creators page to see our announcement post and sign up! We have a crap ton of fun prompts planned for you guys this month and I can’t wait to meet new bloggers throughout this event!

As for June–June was a great month for me. Not only was it my birthday month (big thank you to all my friends who made me feel so loved and special this month; you know who you are and I am so incredibly thankful that you are in my life), but I got to read some amazing books and the music Gods were in my favor.
So without furtherado, let’s see what all I consumed in my birthday haze!

I’m so glad June was a great month for you because you deserve only good things in life, especially during your birthday month 💕 with Camp NaNo and BE Summer it certainly seems like July is set up to be just as good, and I hope it delivers on its promise!
I’ve been wanting to watch Detective Pikachu because it looks like so much fun, which also reminds me that my mom never traded me the detective-hat Pikachu in PoGo lol. but otherwise I’ve had a pretty good June too, both productive and relaxing by turns 😊 (and thank you for linking my post!)

Happy birthday Sam! 🎂 Good luck for Camp Nanowrimo and the Bookend events! My June was pretty good too (also had no DNFs!) but now I started wayyy too many books at once.

      July 3, 2019 at 8:50 am

Thank you Paraaaaa!!!!!!! I am in the same exact boat as you, I want to read them all, so I started them all at once, and now I’m in a pickle cause I can’t choose which to focus on first? At time. 😂

        July 3, 2019 at 4:25 pm

Yes exactly!!!! I want ALL the books and I want them NOW. So I just kinda alternate between them, in a day I read bits of two or three. This will mean longer until the next review but oh well 😂

YOU GOT A YEAR OLDER WOOOOOO, July shall be a month of fun, sheer panic as we both get behind on things and then acceptance that we’re human and our Type A souls can’t always have the organisation and be on top of everything like it wants. At least that’s how i reckon July is gonna turn out for me haha

      July 3, 2019 at 9:01 am

May the type A gods be ever in our favor in July

Did you enjoy Outlander??? Personally, I love that show but, at times, the romance rubs me the wrong way, especially with some old-fashioned attitudes by Jaime. Which is understandable, considering the time they’re in. But still…
