I am so excited for the releases of next month that I decided to make a list of my most anticipated movie releases for the month of February. I know we are still in January–but I’m just THAT excited for these movies.

So sit back, relax, and bounce up and down with me as we countdown the days until release day!

Miss Bala (Feb 1)

Miss Bala (2019) PosterGenre: Action, Drama, Thriller

Starring: Gina RodriguezAnthony MackieIsmael Cruz CordovaThomas Dekker

Gloria finds a power she never knew she had when she is drawn into a dangerous world of cross-border crime. Surviving will require all of her cunning, inventiveness, and strength. Based on the Spanish-language film.

I literally cannot wait for this film to premiere. I have been a big Hardwicke fan since Twilight (even if Twilight wasn’t her best work) and the line up of actors for this film is nothing short of amazing. Plus I am always and forever here for a badass Gina Rodriguez.

Alita: Battle Angel (Feb 15)

An action-packed story of one young woman’s journey to discover the truth of who she is and her fight to change the world.

Ya girl has been dying to see this movie since the trailer release late last year. I get super Avatar vibes from this animation/live action film; and I am always here to stretch and expand our abilities in the world of cinematography and graphics.

Isn’t It Romantic (Feb 15)

I am here for anything and everything Rebel Wilson does. I stan a comedic queen. Plus it is valentines and I’m single so obviously I’m gonna go watch this.

  1. What Men Want! I am so ready to see that movie and laugh out loud 😀 I can’t wait to see that one and also Isn’t It Romantic because it looks funny too ^.^ I hadn’t heard of Miss Bala until now but it sounds so good DD: I am off to watch the trailer.

Of course, if there is any How to Train Your Dragon movie I am going to watch it. That one included 😉

    My recent post:

  2. so tbh most of the movie trailers I’ve seen have been on instagram, but Miss Bala looks awesome and the cast is 💯

ditto Isn’t It Romantic, Rebel Wilson is fantastic! though for the longest time I thought it was Chris Hemsworth, not Liam? I think the accent threw me off; I associate them most strongly with Thor and Gale Hawthorne, respectively 😅 and OMG I didn’t know Priyanka Chopra was in it too! definitely a must-see.

  3. I am so excited for Isn’t it Romantic and well, the trailer is quite attention-grabbing. Hope the movie turns out great as well.
Also, here’s to hoping you like all these movies!

  4. For some reason all the trailers of Alita really creep me out 🤔I’m sure it will be a cool film but the amount of CGI they use for Alita, while all the other characters are mostly human/don’t have hugely CGI-ed faces, is just… disturbing. It will be interesting to see what you think, though!
