December Wrap Up

HAPPY NEW YEARS STORYTELLERS! 2018 was a whirlwind personally and professionally, both in a positive and negative ways. I have grown a lot in these 365 days and I have learned a lot not only about myself but about the world around me. I have gained so many new friends during 2018 that it almost makes up for the shitty times the year doled out to me. But in the end, honestly, I am just so looking forward to what 2019 has in store for me and this little nook in the woods.
2018 aside, December was a coo-coo month for me! I wrapped up my fall theatre season as a Stage Manager, fought my way through the crowds (my social anxiety and claustrophobia was not happy with this) for Christmas presents and decorations, and read/watched/listened to some great pieces of fiction…as well as some duds.
So grab a snack, get comfy in your footie pajamas and let’s see what all I did in the month of December!

I’m glad you had a great December! I’m in love with Halsey atm her music is amazing, I still need to watch Santa Clarita Diet.

I adore Halsey! Her lyrics and tonality is what drew me in and it’s been a 10/10 recommend since! And Santa Clarita Diet is a disturbingly addictive show? like I only watched one episode so far, but I weirdly just want to binge the entire thing. lololololol. Let me know your thoughts if you start it!

[…] Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – I tried twice to read this book with Sam, but both times we couldn’t get into it. It took me about three hours to read 70 pages because I kept zoning out and staring into space. While this is a plot that I am sure I would love and Bardugo can write a good action sequence, unfortunately I found the writing style the rest of the time to be boring and dense with information. 🤝 Buddy read & DNF with Sam @ Fictionally Sam […]

I just answered my question from before on if you read Jock Rule. I think I ended up giving that one three stars. I didn’t love it like I did the first one.
Also, Without me by Halsey is my jam!

I love those two! Do you think she’s going to write another one in that series?

I think she is! The Douchebag series was suppose to end with the Coaching hours but now we are getting the Lying Hours, so anything is possible with Ney!

I finished my rewatch of Buffy season 1 this week….1st or 2nd Jan I think. It’s a time honestly, and I’m finding my courage to start on season 2 hehe.
*gives you all the popcorn* yay for wading through crowds to get presents though! I wouldn’t even entertain the idea, just run the other way, it was bad enough throughout December with the crowds in town. And I had to be in town for college, so I couldn’t escape the horrid crowds >.>
My december mostly consisted of me flapping over getting graphics done, it was a time Sam as well as falling behind on erm blog hopping to Bookending Winter xD

BUUFFFFYYYYY!!!!!! I need to get on watching season 2 before Kal and Jamsu have a coronary. lol. 😂😂
oof crowds can choke. They should know when our presence is near and dissipate when we arrive. 😂
But you got them done! And we wont bring up the blog hop struggle. A time indeed 😂😂
