Happy Wednesday Storytellers! I can’t even believe I am getting to write this post! I remember when I first started I never thought I would get 10 people to listen to me drone on and on about books and my crazy antics, never would I fathom that 300 of you would want to!!! From the bottom of my heart I am thankful for each and every one of you for clicking the follow button and coming by each week to read my crazy posts. Thank you for reading my thoughts and commenting–for helping me create this space that allows me to be uniquely me.
In celebration of hitting (a little over now!) 300 follower, I thought a Q&A would be fun to do! I took to Twitter and my different social medias asking if anyone had any questions for me and these are those questions! So sit back, relax, grab a cup of leftover hot cocoa and enjoy the show! And thank you again!!!
What was the worst book you read in 2018?? and how did it compare with your favourite book of 2018??
The worst book I read in 2018 would probably have to be One Night Stand by J.S. Cooper. Literally was so bad I had to DNF it 50% in. You can see my review for that shit storm here: Mini-Reviews Monday #3: Dragging Edition. Honestly the comparison between the shit storm and my fave is so huge that there isn’t enough time in the world to go into everything I am feeling.
What book was hyped but didn’t pan out?
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. I was promised a time and was given half a time.
What is your favorite book of all time?!
This is a cop-out I know, but I don’t have one! I honestly don’t! I love so many books it is unreal, so to choose one for all time I can’t say….
What is your favorite Color?
A blogger who inspires you?
A blogger who inspires me is probably my wonder twin, Kaleena over at Reader Voracious. She is honestly a gem, and everything she pours out has so much thought and depth put into it. And I know for a fact everything she does she gives her 110%. I love that she is passionate about bringing awareness on what it’s like being an international reader and bringing ARCs to those who don’t have the privilege/access to them. She is literally the definition of a 10/10 would recommend and I highly suggest you go follow her–I swear you will not forget it!

Favorite Shows of 2018?
This year has been a year of catching up in the TV realm. But some of my favorites so far have been: Chicago: Fire, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, The Voice, Queer Eye, and of course the annual Bob Ross: Beauty is Everywhere.
What music artist have you recently discovered?
I recently discovered Maggie Rogers and it’s been a TIME! Literally don’t know why I’ve been sleeping on her music, because it’s literally my vibe. If you haven’t checked her out and have Spotify, I highly suggest go listening to her cover of Tim McGraw.
One huge goal for 2019?
My biggest goal of 2019 is doing a marathon in the fall! It has been on my bucket list for a hot minute and I want to become more active this year as 2018 has shown me I’m a huge home body!
What made you want to Blog?
I wanted to talk to people about books, and because of my living situation I wasn’t able to really continue doing Booktube, and I realized there that if you aren’t chugging out content regularly–you aren’t really in the community. They preach acceptance, but it is indeed very clique-y. So I moved to blogging and I have never looked back since. I have made some amazing friends from all over the world through this community and it’s been a time that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Anything new we can anticipate seeing next year?
Yes! When I first began this blog I used to do TV and Movie reviews, but stopped because I didn’t think anyone wanted to see that content from me–so subsequently, I have been writing TV and movie talks and never publishing them (they have created a nice home in my drafts section). But in 2019, I have decided to screw the masses and re-start publishing them; and to say that I’m not stupid excited would be a lie.
I. AM. STOKED.
