-TODAY’S PROMPT-

Fall Festival Book Photo Tag

Using fall colors (red, orange, black, white, green) and books you have read or want to read during the fall.1

Chilly – Book with a white cover (sad plot line/setting)

This one was actually harder than I thought it would be! But for this one I think I’m going to waddle with Room by Emma Donoghue. It’s setting is as sad as it gets with Jack and his mother held prisoner in this one room seven years.

Sweet – Book with an orange cover (favorite contemporary novel)

Easy–When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon. This book gave me big smiles and a great time as I got to witness Dimple’s wild summer at the aspiring Web Developers summer program. Rishi and Dimples interactions are a treat and not to mention the diversity in this one is like A1 steaksauce.

Spicy – Book with a red cover (action/fast-paced setting)

THIS MORTAL COIL BY EMILY SUVADA!  This is the only true answer to this question–I am sure of it. Science Fiction to its core, we’ve got a deadly virus spreading and a genetic code hacker named Cat who is the only person that can truly stop it. Hold on to your nickers and brace for impact fam because this one is wild.

Dark – Book with a black or dark cover (dark, twisted theme)

I think for this one I am going to go with Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick. This one has been on my owned TBR for a hot minute as its a young adult thriller that follows Teton Range a skilled backpacker who finds herself held captive during a blizzard and forced to guide her captors off a mountain–so a time basically.

Green – Book with a green cover that makes you feel jealous

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas because wow I would love to come home to Rhysand every single night.

hmmmmm If you don’t mind the book being told in a 5 year old’s perspective (can get annoying sometimes) than I would say waddle to the book first, but honestly I kind of liked the movie more, just because the pacing was better.
