First book club read of the year for me! The Trouble With Inventing A Viscount was my first #kissandletmetelechat book club read for this year, and what a fun little diddle it was!
Honestly, I read this for friendship and because I owned a copy of it by accident. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I was entertained by this one. It took some time to get a feel for the story and the characters, but once you got in there, it really started to pick up! Very much what I would call a historical romcom with some slow burn tendencies.
I highly recommend the audiobook for this while reading along with it (the IMAX experience, as I call it) because it just makes the story come that much more alive in my opinion.
