For the first time in forever, I’m actually doing a challenge completely dictated by other people!
I’m doing the 12 in 12 Reading Challenge!
This was a huge thing last year amongst the bookstagram, booktok, and the book blogging world, but because I am a shy, hesitant gal, I decided to skip it in my 2022 challenges. But this year FOMO is real, and I didn’t want to go another year without knowing the fun that this challenge brings! I’ve seen this challenge done in different ways–some picking a book each month, and others going at it at their own pace/moods. Because I’m a complete and total mood reader, I think I will go with the latter and just take this challenge as my mood wants.
I took to my bookstagram in December and asked in my stories for recommendations, and a lot of you came through with some great ones that I’m excited to dive into as they seem to align right into my tastes and some may even push me to read genres that I’m not as familiar with, but have been thinking about dipping my toes in.
Big shout out to everyone who rec’d me a book and those who contributed to this glorious list!

➡ Third book in the series, so a bit of ground work to get to this one but RR is supposed to be a solid hockey romance author, so I’m here for the challenge. Captains of opposing teams fight the chemistry burning within, but I’m assuming (and hoping) they say YOLO and go at it like rabbits

➡ I’ve known Clo for a little over six years now, and she has been hounding me to read this book. We’ve got vampires, a girl who has someone gunning for her even though she is changed, and an old vampire that we have chemistry with…and that’s all I really know?
