Haven’t seen all the movies yet but if Parasite doesn’t win I’ll be so disappointed. Still, I think 1917 will take the Best Picture award as non-English movies rarely stand a chance.
I really need to see Parasite ASAP!!
OMG OMG OMG YES YOU DOOOOOO
They’ll give Parasite Best International Film, but they won’t give it both best film categories. Best Picture will be 1917 or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Laura Dern is going to get Best Supporting Actress and Brad Pitt Best Supporting Actor. In my dreams he brings Jen Aniston with him on the red carpet LOL.
You got right on Laura Dern and Brad! I too dream of him and Jenn going together, I will stan this dream till thine kingdom come! hahaha
You got Best Picture right!!!!! Parasite deserved it so much but I truly believed that 1917 would get it just because the Academy wouldn’t give Best Picture to an international film. I’m so glad I was wrong (although I still love 1917).
Honestly I thought the same thing until I watched Parasite twice (once with my fam and then alone) and it was just remarkably well done, from the script to the cinematography–it was amazing. 1917, though, came in hella close second because the sound mixing for that one was unbelievable!
I still need to see Parasite, luckily Lauren assured me it’s not horror/horror parody or in general scary enough to keep me away [I am a huge baby] but…I’m really drawn to For Sama.
BUT WHAT IS THAT HORSE?
I now need to check these because I can’t remember anything or anyone who won, except Joaquin!!
OMG!! You did so well!!
