I realized that when I posted Sin Bin‘s review, that the other books in this series have been sitting in my drafts folder on my computer all this time! So this is me rectifying that with a good ol’ catch up! Puck Shy is the debut sports romance from romcom writer extraordinaire, Teagan Hunter!

I’m having the definition of a bad year.
Game Six loss costing my team the Cup? Check.
Getting arrested and ruining my image? Check.
Almost getting run over after my car breaks down? Oh, look—a hat trick.
My contract is up with the Carolina Comets this year, and I need to get it together if I want to stay with the team.
I need relaxation, not a relationship.
But when I’m scrolling on a dating app and stumble across the pretty girl who almost ran me over, I know I can’t let her walk away this time.
Harper is funny, smart, and doesn’t care about hockey.
I’m not supposed to be focusing on anything other than my career, yet I can’t get Harper off my mind.
I know I shouldn’t fall for her…but I think I already have.
PUCK SHY is a standalone hockey romantic comedy. It’s good, low angst fun with some hot hockey players.

“You know, I think a part of me started falling for you the first time we met.”
Sports romance say hello to Teagan Hunter! Puck shy is a all new sports romantic comedy about Collin Wright, a hockey player who is having the worst luck of his athletic career. Literally nothing is going right for the guy until his car breaks down and he meets Harper, a quirky girl who knows absolutely nothing about Hockey and definitely doesn’t know he exists. Fate deems these two a match and their paths cross once again when the two match on an online dating site.
I absolutely loved this fast paced romance! Collin and Harper were literally my favorite, their banter and back and forth texting was genuinely the highlight of the story for me. Their connection was so authentic that I couldn’t help but smile every time they were on the page together. Not to mention paired with the authors infamous writing style and comedic sass–this book had me hard pressed to set it down. Puck shy is a 10/10 would recommend quirky hockey romcom that will have you swooning and belly laughing, start to finish. |
