December is has come and the closest thing to winter that Texas will ever get is finally upon us! I have broken out my jackets and boots, and for the first time since last winter people stopped looking at me funny for wearing my favorite cardigans everywhere. Needless to say I am in the closest thing to utter bliss that I can get to in 2020. I have officially hit one month back at my job and I think its safe to say I am getting back into some form of a routine (my evenings are still wacky but we’ll ignore that for now); which I think my mental health was in serious need of. I have enough lady balls to admit it–I cannot function without some sort of routine. I need it. I thrive on doing the same things over and over. I am beautifully boring.
Bless my heart.
But with all that said and done, there are some really cool things I am excited to get my grubby little hands over and let ruin (temporarily) my routine based life! Because December has begun, that means a crap ton of christmas/holidays/winter events are happening–and I have the worst bout of FOMO (fear of missing out) that ever was. So to test my ability to not go completely insane, I am trying my hand at a couple of them!
Obviously you all know by now (and if you don’t that’s okay!) that Bookending Winter is happening this month–which Happy first day everyone!–and I am hosting a nice section of the month for that, so I’m super stoked to be waddling in that this month! I am also taking a stab (a very loose stab) at Christmasathon (Let’s go Team Grinch!) as well as keeping up my tradition of participating in smutathon this year. However, what is new this time around, to which I am equally nervous and excited to be apart of this year, is my lovely friend Antavia’s annual 25 days of Creativity. Here on the blog, I am always trying to promote and make awareness to different mediums of storytelling and the magic that they each have and create, and this challenge is essentially the essence of this blog’s core. Finger’s crossed I make some magic happen in these next 25 days!
To Sir Phillip, With Love by Julia Quinn

Plus – the epilogue II short story:
Those cute kids from romance novels aren’t actually supposed to grow up, are they?
When last we saw Amanda Crane, she was eight years old and (in her own words) a blight on the face of humanity. Now she’s grown up, remarkably well-adjusted, and ready to fall in love. All she needs is the right gentleman…

Pretending by Holly Bourne

Gretel is perfect—beautiful but low maintenance, sweet but never clingy, sexy but not a slut. She’s your regular, everyday Manic-Pixie-Dream-Girl-Next-Door with no problems.
When April starts pretending to be Gretel, dating becomes much more fun—especially once she reels in the unsuspecting Joshua. Finally, April is the one in control, but can she control her own feelings? And as she and Joshua grow closer, how long will she be able to keep pretending?

This hasn’t changed much since my last update–I’ve just been watchin my usual Turkish programs–Sen Çal Kapımı, Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir, Zümrüdüanka–as well as my Nat Geo WILD shows, specifically Secrets of the Zoo. I am trying to slide in some more hallmark movies during my evenings though as a way to spend more time with my mom since that is literally all she watches 24/7.
The goal is really to either finish one of these or to just simply start it. I’ve kept putting them off or getting distracted for weeks now (for one of them its been all year 😅) and I really am tired of writing their names on the TBW portion of my junk journal instead of the Shows Watched portion…

Congrats on one month back at work!! That is a huge accomplishment and I hope you will have many, many, many more month anniversaries to come!
I hope you know I’m giving you an unimpressed stare at you still having the Immortals in your TBW list, not on your “I have watched, drooled, finished, and enjoyed” list. *angelic smile* Also please join me in my love of Yiğit by watching Şeref Meselesi! Good luck not crying by the way. I have failed in this quest.
Aaaah you’re a bit ahead in the Bridgertons, but I am going to catch up. Soon. Ish.
Here’s to a happy December, Sammy Sam!!!
Thank you love! And I could totally feel your stare as I was typing this post up LMAO! 🤣🤣🤣 I swear I’m going to finish it! This is the month! mwuahahahahahahahaha!
Fun fact: It takes a whole bunch for me to cry from television shows, so I accept this challenge. I am due for a good cry session/moment, so let the tears fall as they may 😀

Thank youuuuu!!! <3 OMG PLEASE DO! ITS SO GOOD! I'm only on episode four right now but it is SO SO addicting! Who knew Turkish Vampires would make me swoon so bad, but here we are lmao
I cannot believe we are almost done with this month already! I’m trying to jump back into blogging and reading other blogs and so glad I hopped back on the Fictionally Sam train! Also! Thank you for doing 25 Days of Creativity this year! Having you along for this journey has been absolutely amazing!
