Patreon Decides is a new installment/series on Fictionally Sam, where each month I hand over decision rights to my Patrons to pick a post topic of their choosing for me to write on.

Happy Friday storytellers! This month my patrons chose for me to talk about books I want to read…specifically books involving Christmas Aliens. At first I thought this was going to be pretty tough because more often than not, a lot of paranormal Christmas stories are told from shifters instead of aliens–BUT! I did find a few on my TBR that fit this overly specific topic. So grab some popcorn, prepare your TBRs, and lets get galactic!

Ice Planet Holiday

Author: Ruby Dixon | Genre: Science Fiction, Erotica, PNR | Publish date: November 27th 2015

Ice Planet Holiday (Ice Planet Barbarians, #4.5)All this snow and no holidays? What’s a stranded human to do?

Create a new holiday, of course. Georgie and the other women decide to bring some new traditions and cheer to the sa-khui. More babies are born, presents are exchanged, and a new romance blossoms between a human woman desperate for a change, and the alien determined to protect her.

This 25,000 word novella is NOT intended as a stand-alone. Looking for a place to start? Try ICE PLANET BARBARIANS, Book #1 in the series.

This series has been on my TBR for the hottest of minutes; maybe even since I caught the Paranormal romance bug earlier this year. But hot damn did I get excited when I saw Dixon had a novella revolving around my favorite time of year. YALL ITS ALIENS CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS. MY BODY HAS A NEED.

In Love With Alien Santa Claus

Author: Zara Zenia | Genre: Science Fiction, PNR | Publish date: November 15th 2018

In Love With Alien Santa ClausDo you believe in Santa?

Yeah, Kris doesn’t either.
But since his ship got stranded above earth,
and an antigravity accident left him with flying reindeer,
he’s decided to make the legend come to life.
The presents he brings aren’t the traditional dolls and rocking horses.
Instead he finds kids who need help—
serious help—
and gives it to them.
Cancer cured.
Houses fixed.
Parents healed.
There’s one little girl he helped years ago
who he’s kept tabs on.
And she’s grown into a beautiful woman.
He’s forced himself to keep his distance,
but when an equipment malfunction gets him stuck in a chimney,
Blitzen brings her to his rescue.
Will she be able to accept him?
Or will the truth of his identity drive her away?

In Love With Alien Santa Claus is standalone, science fiction holiday romance story that features a loving human female and a generous alien. This page-turning science fiction romance story has no cliffhanger, no cheating, and a guaranteed happy ending!

Two words and two words only: Alien Zaddy.

The (Alien) Nanny For Christmas

Author: Amanda Milo | Genre: Science Fiction, PNR | Publish date: December 9th 2018

The (Alien) Nanny for Christmas (Stolen by an Alien #5)Hi. I’m Gwen. I’m a single mom to two growing boys—and now I’m the brand new owner of an alien whose greatest wish in life is to become a live-in nanny.
It’s been kind of a weird day.
I wholeheartedly recommend adding an alien to your household though. He cooks, he cleans—and the kids love him. But three things you should know if you’re going to keep a seven-foot-tall alien in your basement?
You might want to invest in flameproof cookware.
He will think of you as his planet’s equivalent of a princess.
And my alien is totally stealing my underwear.

**This is a sweet Standalone Novella. Note: Explicit language and adult scenes are contained in this book.

***Heads up for readers of the Stolen series: this is an interconnected standalone, so hop in and have some fun “Ha!” moments with me!

This Book sounds completely bonkers and I am all kinds of here for it! Like honestly, how can you not be intrigued after reading that WTF synopsis?!

The Barbarian Before Christmas

Author: Ruby Dixon | Genre: Science Fiction, PNR | Publish date: December 9th 2017

The Barbarian Before Christmas (Ice Planet Barbarians, #15.5)The growing barbarian tribe is about to celebrate No-Poison Day – a time of love, laughter, and gifts. But all Elly wants is for her mate to be at her side before the brutal season arrives. All Bek wants is a way to quickly return to his female despite the mountains between them. Thanks to the talents of a newcomer… they’re both about to get their wish and celebrate the happiest of holidays together.

This novella features characters from prior Ice Planet Barbarians stories and DOES NOT stand alone.

Like I said earlier, I need to start this series, but this gem landed on my TBR solely for the sentence: “to celebrate No-poison Day”

Honestly–a time.

What alien books are on your TBR this winter?

Thank you so much to my wonderful patrons who continue to shower me with their love, support, and general fabulous vibes!
