“Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?”
That’s how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.
Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.
I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.
Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was—unfinished business.
I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again…but I did.
Everything was going great—until we discovered I was his son’s teacher.

Teagan hunter has done it again.
In this third installment to the texting series, Can’t Text This, follows the story of Robbie Cross, a single Dad who is trying to get his life together for his son, and Monty Andrews, a walking definition of what a good girl should look like. But when Monty decides to let loose for one night at a dive bar, both their worlds turn upside down as they both can’ t seem to let go of the other. With cameos to previous characters in the series, Teagan Hunter offers up a fresh new look at texting romance, and honestly I am HERE. FOR. IT.
I swooned over Robbie in Let’s Get Textual, so when I heard that he was getting his story, I was squealing all over my office floor (sorry not sorry Bossman). Robbie and Monty’s relationship was so authentic and real, that I instantly fell in love with them and was cheering for them throughout the entirety of the novel. The chemistry explosive and the banter A+, Teagan doesn’t hold back with this new storyline–Especially with the texting.
Me: THIS IS GIRLS’ NIGHT. PUT YOUR MAGIC DADDY DICK AWAY. WE’RE HAVING A DICK-FREE NIGHT.
Python: Denny, hi. Great to meet you again.
Python: Loving the new nickname. Magic Daddy Dick. I can get behind that.
Me: And my sister wants to get ON that.
Never this year have I laughed so hard at a book before, but the one-liners and back and forth dialogue between not only our Hero and heroine, but also between the entire cast had me in stitches throughout the entire ride. AND WHAT A RIDE IT WAS! I loved how no matter what Monty stayed true to who she was even as she dabbled outside of her comfort zone. Monty’s personality jumped out of the pages for me and had me connecting to her story so much more than I have with any other character in the series. She may be innocent in every definition of the word, but she never lets that stop her.
Robbie on the other hand, is the exact opposite of Monty–and it would be a lie if I said that I didn’t like it. Robbie had me swooning from the moment he pulled out the pick-up line in the dive bar. His devotion to his son and his rebel/nerd like personality had me fanning myself for the majority of my reading.
If you haven’t read anything by Teagan Hunter and love a good romantic comedy, I suggest you pick this up NOW. You will laugh until you cry, you will crave pizza, and you will swoon your heart out. 10/10 would recommend.
