Hello beautiful and wonderful people!
I’m just popping in from my reading hole to let y’all know what I’ve been up to story-telling wise! This month has been such a great story month so far that I feel like I am over my head with how many things there are to consume and fall in love with. But I am determined to fall in love and head over heels with as many great pieces of art that I can!
In the book department of the world I am currently reading a few books: Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince (audiobook), A Wrinkle in Time (audiobook and ebook), and Restore Me. I am having a blast listening to both HP and A Wrinkle in Time, however, every time I go to read Restore Me I get all kinds of excited and have to close the book and take a walk–so I haven’t really gotten that far into that one. But I am determined!
So far this month I have been really into the folk/Indie side of my music rainbow, thanks to this one daily mix on spotify that was legit fire. Here are a few songs that have been a repetitive part of my days these past two weeks:
-
-
- I had me a girl – The Lumineers
- The Pulgilist – Keaton Henson
- January 31, 2018: Super Blue Blood Moon – Sleeping at Last
- No Angels – Bastille ft. Ella Eyre
- Ophelia – The Lumineers
- The Village – Wrabel
- Fire Escape – Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness
- The Hamilton Polka – Wierd Al Yankovic
- Django Jane – Janelle Monae
- Make Me Feel – Janelle Monae
- Be the Song – Foy Vance
-
That’s about it for what I have been up to this month so far! I haven’t really been watching any TV series except for The Voice and the occasional episode of Bull. But I am always looking for something new to devour, so if you have any favorite TV shows let me know and I will check them out!
