So I was perusing YouTube as one does and came across this tag by Catalyst Reads where you basically talk about the things you hate and I thought “Hey. I hate a lot of things.” and then boom the decision to do this tag was made. As usual I wasn’t tagged but I am a rebel if nothing else, so of course I have to do it. Because I am a rebel. And I wanted to.

“We met in a trapped elevator.
Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie.
I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?
At thirty-five, my life hadn’t taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting—I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.
After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner—he also insisted on something else—that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn’t want kids, I’d be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.
But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.” —Goodreads
Ahh, my favorite time of the month. The time where I think I am super-human and make a list the size of Mount Everest and think to myself “I can read all the things this month! I am the master commander.”

So without further ado, let’s get on into this shindig!! Continue reading
I honestly feel like February flew by so fast! It feels like Single Awareness Day was two days ago and not 2 weeks ago. But nevertheless, February was jammed packed with a lot of change and trying new things, which for me is daunting so the fact that I read anything at all deserves the highest of fives.
This month I read a total of six (6) books, and I was in a HUGE romance/new adult mood so basically that is all I read. #noshame. But like I said Feb was full of new things and a lot of socializing so I am really proud of how much I read….. Continue reading
Since this neck of the internet is fairly new, I thought it would be cool to introduce myself a little bit more and give ya’ll a chance to know me a bit better; and then I thought what better way to do that then with a tag!
I found this tag from Cloe over at Mornings and Epilogues, not sure who the originator of the tag is, but when I find out I will add it in!
So without further ado, here is…me! Continue reading
