Mini-Reviews Monday #9
Mini-Reviews Monday is a monthly series in which I attempt to get caught up on reviews in bulk. These reviews are a highlight reel instead of an in-depth look into my time reading these novels. If you would like an in-depth version of my review, let me know in the comments!

I am honestly shocked that I enjoyed this one when the others in this series was a doozy for me. Once Upon A Bad Boy is a cute summer feeling second chance romance that had me feeling all the things. I really enjoyed our main characters and the chemistry between them wasn’t only steamy and intense but also believable and natural. Bo and Sadie are probably without a doubt my favorite couple from this series and I wouldn’t mind reading more from these two! There were some issues that I had in regards to dialogue near the end that felt forced/rushed which is why I knocked a few stars off as it pulled me out of the story on several occasions; but overall I really enjoyed myself with this one!

I loved this graphic novel so much and I am super glad I finally took the plunge and decided to read this one as it has been sitting on my TBR shelves for forever and a damn day. I absolutely love the gang and how charismatic and real they felt while reading. Funny, spunky and relatable to those who are (or remember) being a freshman at University for the first time, Giant days gives us a healthy dose of diversity as well as reality as it throws comedic lightness to balance out the tone. I loved watching as things and scenes that felt out of place in the story got connected and intertwined towards the end. Overall, this is a great series that highlights the worst and best parts of transitioning from one stage in life to another.

I’m shocked I loved this as much as I did!
The first in a serial of novellas, Shopping for a Billionaire is a super meet cute that literally had me in stitches from start to finish. This one is heavy on the comedy and light almost on the romance, but I think our Heroine’s inner dialogue totally makes up for the lack of steam. As this is just the first in a serial I can only hope that the next ones we will get a little more action to sedate the sexual tension between our main characters, but I honestly didn’t mind the slow burn of it all one bit! Excited to see how this series continues!
