BOOKENDING WINTER: Reading Goals For The New Year
Another day and another Bookending Winter prompt! Honestly guys, Bookending Winter has been #THRIVING because of you and I am super stocked to be meeting so many new faces and getting to see new blogs! My heart is literally full that I cannot even.
Today we have our final prompt from the AMAZING Lauren @ Northern Plunder! Big shout out to her and her amazingness, if you haven’t followed her yet, honestly what are you waiting for? She is an absolute gem, and a 10/10 recommend!
Reading Goals for the New Year
Setting out a plan for what books I’d like to read in 2019
Read the Shadow Hunter Chronicles
This has been on my resolutions since I stopped at City of Ash. But as the final conclusion came out last week, I really wanna delve into this world again and see what all the hype is about. So for this series I need to read:
The rest of The Mortal Instrument Series after City of Ashes
The Infernal Devices Series
The Dark Artifices Series
Read more Paranormal Romance
Okay, so if you all have been reading my blog since the beginning you would know I read a crap ton of Romance–like A LOT. But for some strange reason, I haven’t branched out yet to the paranormal romance portion of the romance umbrella. This fact shocks me because I love paranormal fiction almost as much as I love Fantasy and Science Fiction, so I’m not sure why I haven’t dove head first into the paranormal romance when I entered the whole romance world.
I am hoping, though, that 2019 changes this! So if you have any good PR recommendations let a gal know below!
Read one Classic a month
So this is probably going to be the hardest one to tackle, but one that I really want to accomplish in 2019! I’m trying to become a well-rounded reader, and I feel like I’m at a stage of my life where I can really appreciate the themes and workings of the tomes we consider classics, where as before I don’t think I was mature enough in my reading journey to grasp the concepts or appreciate them to say the least. So for 2019 I want to read 12 classics–one a month.
What are your reading resolutions?
